Constant craving

M: So what the new guy you've been seeing like?
J: He's nice. I'm not in love with him but he's a distraction from my broken heart. It's funny, other guys I've seen have made me miss S more than ever but I don't seem to miss him quite as much when I'm with Greg.
M: Oh that's encouraging maybe this is going to lead to something more.
J: No I don't think so in fact I think I've figured out what it is. Greg is really quite different physically to S but there are certain aspects to his personality that are similar - like he's really arrogant and super-confident but he's also warm and sweet and funny ...
M: and...?
J: Well I think that he gives me a small amount of what I used to have with S. He's like a nicotine patch for my heart, he stops the cravings just enough to make it bearable...

Stupid to love someone it's incredibly dumb they rip out your heart and then tear it apart you give love away think that they'll stay but they move on with ease despite all your pleas and you toss and you turn and you bleed and you burn whilst they dance the fandango and let you go hang though the blood in your veins still grasps for the reins and you yearn for more passion to save you from rational thought...

S: This feels weird... now that I'm married it just feels all wrong
J: This isn't going to work is it?

J: We have to say goodbye then don't we..?
S: Let's just do it now and get it over with.
J: Ok...

S: You're not going to cry are you?
J: Yes of course I am. I still love you ...
