J: So what is it you're doing at school today and tomorrow instead of normal lessons?
Zach: It's called the 7 habits of being an effective teenager. It's really boring!
J: Is it? Why's that?
Zach: Well they make it sound like being a teenager is a terrible thing and I'm sure it can't be that bad...
J: No, of course it's not there's loads of great things about being a teenager. You get to be more independant, you'll start to learn to drive a car...
Zach: Yes and the older I get, the closer I am to having sex for the 1st time so that'll be good
J: er yeah ... that's an interesting point. Bet that wasn't one of the 7 habits they mentioned though was it?!

Constant craving

M: So what the new guy you've been seeing like?
J: He's nice. I'm not in love with him but he's a distraction from my broken heart. It's funny, other guys I've seen have made me miss S more than ever but I don't seem to miss him quite as much when I'm with Greg.
M: Oh that's encouraging maybe this is going to lead to something more.
J: No I don't think so in fact I think I've figured out what it is. Greg is really quite different physically to S but there are certain aspects to his personality that are similar - like he's really arrogant and super-confident but he's also warm and sweet and funny ...

J: Well I think that he gives me a small amount of what I used to have with S. He's like a nicotine patch for my heart, he stops the cravings just enough to make it bearable...
